I ran across this information-packed video and recommend it to all new real estate investors (and potential real estate investors). It clearly describes the “how” and “why” of structuring yourself for appropriate liability protection. It’s excellent information from Phil Pustejovsky, a renown real estate investor, speaker and coach. Check it out!
Hello and welcome to the start of a new year! It looks like 2016 will be a very dynamic year for all of us, including the commercial real estate market as well as the nation as a whole. Therefore, in order to help you get started in 2016 with the best information possible, I’ve found a very timely and informative video that I recommend watching. The title of the video is “2016 Emerging Trends in Real Estate.”
Emerging Trends in Real Estate® is a trends and forecast publication now in its 37th edition. It is one of the most highly regarded and widely read forecast reports in the real estate industry. Emerging Trends in Real Estate® 2016, undertaken jointly by PWC and the Urban Land Institute, provides an outlook on real estate investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues throughout the United States and Canada.
The video was produced by The Commercial Real Estate Shop with Michael Bull, CCIM, serving as the host for the program. And, the featured guests are Mitch Rochelle, a Partner at PWC, and Andy Warren, Director of Research at PWC.
Bottom line, this video provides outstanding content and I recommend it for all active as well as all pending commercial real estate investors.
I recently received some very positive feedback from readers about a video I posted produced by Phil Pustejovsky. (Its title was, The Kiss of Death when Selling a House (Or Commercial Real Estate). Check it out if you have not yet seen it.) I’ve watched quite a few of Phil’s other videos and they all contain some very useful information. However, there is a 2-part video set that I think is particularly valuable for my readers. Therefore, if you’re interested in discovering a road map about how to start with a small amount of seed money and grow it into an assortment of profitable real estate investments, then these 2 videos are for you. I’ve included both videos below and I urge you to watch them in their entirety as soon as you have sufficient time (both videos are approximately 27-minutes in length).
Here’s an outstanding video that I recently discovered. The title is “Kiss of Death when Selling a House.” However, the overall concept applies to any type of real estate sales transaction — including Commercial as well as Residential real estate. The video features Phil Pustejovsky, a well known real estate investor who is also a mentor and coach for some of the most successful real estate investors in North America. I definitely recommend that you watch this video. It will be time very well spent.
Here’s more good news about the greater Chattanooga real estate market. I encourage you to read this article published by the Chattanooga Times Free Press on August 21, 2015.

Sales have jumped 9.6 percent over the past 12 months, while the number of listings has declined 4.7 percent.
In Chattanooga, home sales also rose in July by 2.3 percent from year-ago levels to 785 homes, even while the number of houses for sale plunged by 33.4 percent to 4,408, or 2,214 fewer than in July 2014. “Discover the 5 Best Commercial Real Estate Types for Individual Investors” is another highly informative training video by Peter Harris of Commercial Property Advisors. This relatively short (18-minute) video discusses many of the pro’s and con’s associated with investing in 5 important commercial property types: apartments, self-storage, shopping centers, office buildings and mobile home parks. It’s solid information with many useful tips. Bottom line, if you are a commercial real estate investor striving to expand your portfolio into additional investment categories, then I definitely recommend watching this video.
